"What is Your Why??"
You've no doubt been asked this more than once and I can't recall how long it took me to really understand why that question was necessary.
You see your why is what inspires and really pushes you on.
If it's strong enough, you will do absolutely whatever is required to attain the results that you crave for yourself.
Alternatively if it's not strong enough, this business is so hard that you are likely to become one of those who fail.
When you're new to online marketing it's easy to get absorbed by the idea of making a lot of money and that's something that not many of us don't affirm as one factor in our reason for doing this business. Yet that aim alone will not be enough to support you and keep you picking yourself up, brushing yourself off and keeping going when the going gets arduous..
Your why has to be an internal factor, for it to compel you hard enough to keep driving you forward when all you want to do is sit in the corner and lick your wounds, it has to be something that you get real agitated about in it's own right, something that makes you feel exceptional regardless of whether you have enough money to live on.
Finding your why is what empowers you to stop chasing others and start attracting them to you, when you realise what makes you tick, what really motivates you and you harness that, others relate to the confidence and the higher level of self awareness that generates and they start to be drawn by that certainty.
When you first got involved, were you told to draw up your warm list and approach them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's chasing, and it's a sure fire way to get those people turned off and avoiding you. Sure if you're fortunate you may have several people on that list who are fired up and ready to do whatever it takes, but in all fairness, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your business? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and brand you as the guy or gal that they least want to spend time with.
It's crucial for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move along with you rather than those who require so much support to take a step or two that they drag you backwards constantly.
